Limited Service within the Uwharrie Region of North Carolina.
All shuttles must be scheduled in advance and are subjected to availability.

When checking the gage height on the Uwharrie River (2nd graph on the above link):

at 3 ft you will have a good paddle, maybe a little muddy

between 2.9-2.75 ft you will find some low areas where kayaks may drag or some portage may be needed

at 2.5 ft or lower, levels for paddling will be very low, very little flow and rocks and low areas where dragging/portage will be frequent, the length of time to travel the river will be much longer than may be expected
